Coniva.ai respects your privacy and provides you with complete control over your personal data. This document explains how you can request deletion of your data from our platform.

When you use Coniva.ai, we may store:

- Integration data (WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger connections)
- Usage analytics and logs
- Billing information (securely stored with payment providers)
How to Request Data Deletion
Send an email to privacy@coniva.ai with:
- Subject Line: "Data Deletion Request"
- Include in the email:
- Your account email address
- Your full name
- Your Coniva.ai user ID (if available)
- Reason for deletion (optional)
Note: Account deletion is not available as a self-service option. All deletion requests must be processed by our support team to ensure proper data handling and verification.
What Happens When You Request Deletion
Immediate Actions (Within 24 hours)
- Your account is deactivated
- All Agents stop responding
- Access to the platform is revoked
- Active integrations are disconnected
Within 30 Days
- Personal information is permanently deleted
- Uploaded documents are removed
- Chat history is purged
- Training data is deleted
- Analytics data is anonymized
Within 90 Days
- All backups containing your data are purged
- Cached data is cleared
- Log entries are anonymized or deleted
Data We May Retain
In certain circumstances, we may need to retain some information:
Legal Requirements
- Transaction records for tax purposes (7 years)
- Data subject to legal holds or investigations
- Information required for compliance with laws
Anonymized Data
- Aggregated analytics that cannot identify you

What We Delete
- All conversation history from Facebook Messenger associated with your Facebook account
- WhatsApp chat logs linked to your Facebook account
- User profile information obtained from Facebook platforms
- Facebook integration tokens and credentials
- Any training data derived from Facebook conversations
- Facebook app-scoped user ID and associated metadata
Deletion Timeline for Facebook Data
- Immediate (within 1 hour): Facebook integrations disconnected, active conversations stopped
- Within 24 hours: Conversation history and profile data deleted from primary systems
- Within 30 days: Complete removal from all systems and databases
- Within 90 days: Purged from backups and logs
What Facebook/WhatsApp May Retain
- Messages sent through their platforms may be retained per their policies
- We cannot delete data directly from Facebook or WhatsApp servers
- Consult Facebook and WhatsApp privacy policies for their retention practices
- Facebook may retain some data for legal compliance as outlined in their Data Policy
Important: This deletion process is specifically for data collected through our Facebook app integration. To delete data from Facebook's own systems, you must use Facebook's native data deletion tools in your Facebook account settings.
Verification Process
To protect your privacy, we verify deletion requests:
- Email verification - We send a confirmation to your registered email
- Identity verification - We may ask security questions
- Final confirmation - You must confirm the deletion request
Timeframe for Deletion
- Acknowledgment: Within 48 hours of request
- Verification: Within 3-5 business days
- Deletion completion: Within 30 days
- Full purge (including backups): Within 90 days
Downloading Your Data Before Deletion
Before requesting deletion, you can download your data by contacting our support team:
- Email privacy@coniva.ai with subject "Data Export Request"
- Include your account email and specify the data types you want
- Our team will generate and send you a secure download link
- Download the ZIP file within 7 days
Export includes:
- Profile information
- Uploaded documents
- Chat conversations
- Configuration settings
- Activity logs
Revoking Deletion Requests
You can cancel a deletion request within 7 days:
- Click the link in the deletion confirmation email
- Log in with your credentials
- Select "Cancel Deletion Request"
- Your account will be reactivated
After 7 days, deletion cannot be reversed.

We will request deletion from our third-party providers:
- OpenAI/Anthropic: Training data and prompts
- Cloud Storage: Uploaded documents
- Analytics Providers: Usage data
- Payment Processors: As permitted by financial regulations
